As in the case of fruit, our country is one of the largest producers of vegetables in Europe, the moderate climate that we have throughout the year allows crops to be very extensive, there are areas such as in the south of Spain where there are huge greenhouses with very extensive productions of tomatoes and various vegetables.
As in the case of fruit, the sale of products is always by weight, although there are exceptions such as lettuce, bunches of spring onion, and a few others, whose sale is carried out by units. Keep in mind that the price that is generally displayed is per kilo, the fact that some items may seem cheap is precisely because of the large production that exists in the country.
