This is the generic name that all edible and inedible mushrooms receive, to refer to them in a general way, as can be seen in many of the sections of this glossary.
Each mushroom has its name and its specification in the way of cooking or the type of quality of each. Sometimes in the menus of restaurants or cooked products the generic expression is used without specifying what type of mushroom it is, but if you ask the waiters or staff who attend, they will specify what type of mushroom it is.
