This particular species (tricholoma terreum) is productive in Europe in coniferous forests, especially pine forests of all types, they like to grow next to pines and in shady places.
When the season comes, they sprout in small colonies and proliferate en masse, sometimes making spectacular carpets to see.
Ultimately we can say that it is not too difficult to find and quite common in the forest.
The fact that this mushroom visits us at the end of the season, when many species are already disappearing, makes it a mushroom appreciated by collectors. Taking into account that it is a slightly fleshy wild mushroom and that it does not have much smell, we can find it cooked mixed with crushed potatoes, it is also ideal to use in soups, stews or simply lightly fried with garlic and parsley to accompany a meat. It is not a mushroom suitable for drying.
